AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) -- Brandon Knight broke his nose in the first quarter of the Detroit Pistons' game against the New Orleans Hornets on Saturday night.

The rookie point guard, who had a career-high 26 points in Friday's win over Milwaukee, sustained the injury midway through the first quarter. While going for an offensive rebound, he was hit by teammate Greg Monroe's elbow.
The Pistons say that Knight's return is doubtful.
